Give your company a heart transplant to keep it healthy, says NetSuite boss Evan Goldberg

The founder of the US software giant NetSuite, which is preparing for a “quantum leap” in its technology, has said that big companies should carry out “heart transplants” on their core services and products to stay ahead of “upstart” competitors.

Evan Goldberg said that the company, which was acquired by Oracle in 2016 for $9.3 billion, has been overhauling its core technology after securing the personal backing of Larry Ellison, Oracle’s co-founder, almost three years ago to accelerate the changes.
